Gender reveal "Diaper bag" tutorial

Bake 3 10" round cakes colored either pink or blue depending on the gender to be revealed.

Stack with buttercream in between the 3 cakes. Carve into desired shape and ice with buttercream. (This photo shows only the crumb coat stage)

Once final layer of buttercream is applied smooth and apply desired shade of fondant. (Remember this is a gender reveal, so you want to keep the bag gender neutral in color)

Start to add elements to the bag. (straps, pockets, buttons, etc.)

Finally add elements like a bib, pacifier, or anything else that would normally go into a diaper bag.
